The fomo.family API: trader wallets, PnL and leaderboards in one call
fomo.family has no public API. Here is how to get its traders' leaderboards, PnL and on-chain wallets programmatically, and what each field means.
fomo.family (referral link) is where a lot of memecoin traders on Solana and EVM chains post their trades and climb public leaderboards. What it does not offer is a public API. If you are building a copy-trading bot, an analytics dashboard or a research tool, you need the same data in a form your code can read: who is on the leaderboard, how much they made, and above all which wallets they actually trade from.
This guide shows what the Provadata API returns for fomo traders, how to call it, and how to read the fields that matter.
What you can get
- Leaderboards for the 24-hour, 7-day and 30-day windows, up to 150 traders each, with the rank from the previous capture so you can see who is climbing.
- Trader profiles: display name, PnL for each window and all time, volume, trade count and followers.
- Wallets: every wallet linked to a trader, each with an evidence status of
verifiedorlikely. - Reverse lookup: given a wallet address, the trader who owns it.
Each costs a fixed number of credits: 100 for a leaderboard, 500 for a trader, 500 for a wallet, and 250 per item found in a batch. Anything that is not a 2xx response is free.
Your first call
Every request carries your key as a bearer token. Start with the 24-hour leaderboard:
curl "https://provadata.com/v2/leaderboard/24h?limit=5" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $API_KEY"
The response is a flat JSON object. The interesting part is traders:
{
"window": "24h",
"capturedAt": "2026-09-24T14:00:00Z",
"count": 5,
"traders": [
{
"rank": 1,
"previousRank": 3,
"pnlUsd": 92418.0,
"handle": "northwind",
"walletsVerified": true,
"walletList": [
{ "chain": "solana", "address": "7xKq…9fQe", "status": "verified" }
]
}
]
}
Look up one trader
curl https://provadata.com/v2/users/northwind \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $API_KEY"
A trader lookup adds asOf, which tells you when each part of the record was last checked. If we have never seen this trader, you get a 202 with "status": "pending" while we look for their wallets in the background. The 202 costs nothing; retry after retryAfterSeconds and the answer is there.
The fields that matter
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
walletList[].status | verified when an on-chain transaction moved the wallet’s balance in step with one of the trader’s swaps; likely otherwise. |
walletsVerified | True if at least one wallet is verified. The quickest filter for “can I trust this trader’s wallet?”. |
checked | False means nobody has searched for this trader’s wallets yet, so an empty list says nothing. |
pnl | USD per window. null means unknown, which is not the same as zero. |
previousRank | Rank in the previous capture; null for a newcomer. |
What it is not
Provadata is independent and not affiliated with fomo.family. Leaderboard ranks and PnL are fomo’s own numbers; wallet evidence is ours. Every wallet carries its own chain and status.
