Who owns this wallet? Reverse lookup for fomo traders
Turn a Solana or EVM address into the fomo trader behind it, one at a time or 100 per call, and handle conflicts and misses correctly.
You see a wallet making a well-timed buy. Is it a known trader? Reverse lookup answers that: give it a Solana (or EVM) address and it returns the fomo trader who owns it, with the evidence behind the link.
One address
curl https://provadata.com/v2/wallets/7xKqV3…9fQe \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $API_KEY"
{
"address": "7xKqV3…9fQe",
"chain": "solana",
"status": "verified",
"conflict": false,
"trader": {
"handle": "halvard",
"pnl": { "24h": 18402.0, "7d": -3129.4, "30d": 64960.0, "all": 148210.7 },
"walletsVerified": true
}
}
It costs 500 credits when an owner is found. An address nobody owns returns 404 not_found, which is free, so you can check addresses speculatively without paying for misses.
Read the status before you act
status is how sure the link between this address and the trader is:
verified: an on-chain transaction proves it. Safe to attribute.likely: some evidence, no proof. Show it with a label, do not automate on it.
conflict is true if the address is tied to more than one trader. It has not happened in a live check, and if it does we report it rather than pick one. Treat a conflicted address as unattributed.
Up to 100 addresses per call
Scanning a token’s holders or a block’s signers? Batch it:
curl "https://provadata.com/v2/wallets?addresses=7xKq…9fQe,9zzz…aaaa" \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $API_KEY"
{ "items": [ { "address": "7xKq…9fQe", "trader": { … } } ], "missing": ["9zzz…aaaa"] }
Only owners found are billed, at 250 credits each. A hundred addresses with three known owners costs 750 credits.
A pattern that scales
- Collect candidate addresses from your own source: swaps on a token, holders, a mempool feed.
- Deduplicate and send them in batches of 100.
- Keep only
status: "verified"andconflict: falsefor anything automated. - Cache results: ownership changes rarely, so re-checking the same address every minute wastes credits.
Invalid addresses in a batch fail the whole call with 400 invalid_address, so validate before you send.
